Scope and acceptance
These terms govern the Hearworthy iPhone app and episode-generation service. Gianfranco Gasbarri, acting personally in Portugal, provides the service. Contact privacy@hearworthy.com.
By creating an account or using Hearworthy, you agree to these terms and the App Privacy policy. You must have legal capacity to make this agreement. If you use Hearworthy for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.
The service
Hearworthy turns one question into a researched, narrated audio episode with source links. Generation can take time and can fail. When a terminal generation failure qualifies for a credit restoration, Hearworthy restores the debited credit to its original grant under the service rules.
Hearworthy uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence. An episode or source summary can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Source links can change or disappear. Check primary sources and seek a qualified professional before you act on medical, legal, financial, safety, or other important information.
Your account
Hearworthy uses Sign in with Apple and Clerk for account access. Keep your device and Apple account secure. Do not share an account in a way that defeats service limits. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless applicable law states otherwise.
You can delete the account from the Account screen. Account deletion is permanent and starts removal of associated app data as described in the App Privacy policy. It does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Subscriptions and credits
Hearworthy Plus offers monthly and annual auto-renewable Apple subscriptions. Eligible subscribers receive a seven-day free trial with one credit for one Simple episode. The trial credit expires at the trial end and is granted once per Hearworthy account. Signing up alone grants no credits. Both paid plans grant up to four credits each month without taking the usable non-trial balance above eight. Annual plans are billed yearly and grant credits monthly. Each Simple episode has a 10–15-minute listening target and uses one credit. Paid grants expire 90 days after their monthly grant starts. Complimentary credits count toward the cap. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and apply only to Hearworthy.
The App Store shows the price and currency before purchase. Apple charges the Apple Account when you confirm a paid purchase or when your free trial ends. The subscription renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple can charge the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Use Manage subscription in the app or Apple's subscription settings to cancel. Cancellation stops future renewal and does not reverse a completed period. Apple handles refunds under its rules and applicable law. Cancellation preserves unexpired paid credits. A refund can remove unused credits from the refunded period. Purchases and restores stay with the original Hearworthy account through RevenueCat. By starting a trial or subscribing, you consent to RevenueCat sharing purchase delivery and refund-request information with Apple to help resolve refund requests. This includes whether RevenueCat has the transaction and that sample content is provided. Hearworthy prefers declining refund requests, but Apple makes the final decision under its rules and applicable law. RevenueCat does not receive your episode content or listening events for this purpose. Contact privacy@hearworthy.com to withdraw this sharing consent; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful sharing.
Hearworthy can change the price, credit allowance, or service rules for a future period. Apple will provide price-change notice or ask for consent where required. The change does not reduce credits already granted for a paid period.
Your content and permitted use
You keep any rights you have in a question or details you submit. You give Hearworthy and its providers a limited right to host, copy, process, adapt, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service as described in the App Privacy policy.
You can use a generated episode for personal, non-commercial listening. Do not claim that generated material is verified or original when it is not. A generated episode can resemble existing facts, phrases, or material. Hearworthy does not promise that output is unique or that every use will avoid third-party rights.
Do not use Hearworthy to violate law, infringe rights, harm a person, bypass security, probe the service without permission, distribute malware, create abusive load, or generate content that the provider safety rules prohibit. Do not submit content unless you have the right to process it through the service.
Availability, suspension, and changes
Hearworthy can limit or suspend access when needed to protect users, providers, or the service; enforce these terms; meet legal duties; or address security and payment risk. Hearworthy can change or discontinue features. Where law requires notice, Hearworthy will give it.
The service depends on Apple, internet access, identity, hosting, and generation providers. Hearworthy does not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.
Liability and mandatory rights
To the extent permitted by law, Hearworthy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss caused by reliance on unverified generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow Hearworthy to exclude.
Portuguese law is intended to govern these terms. This choice does not remove mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under another law. Courts with authority under applicable law can hear a dispute.
Changes and contact
Hearworthy will post material changes at the App Terms URL and update the effective or review date. If law requires another form of notice or consent, Hearworthy will provide it before the change applies. Send questions to privacy@hearworthy.com.
